The invention relates to a one-piece protective toe cap for safety footwear, forming a concave frame consisting of a front wall with connected side walls, the upper edges of which are joined by a concave surface along the profile of the last. The contour or edge of the flange of the toe cap is provided with a recess in order to house a tab and provide comfort, as well as improving the appearance of the footwear (not shown in these documents). The design withstands impact tests of approximately 101.7 to 146.7 Joules (10.4 to 14.95 kgf-m) and compression of 11,130 to 14,710 Newton (1,135 to 1,500 kgf-m), leaving clearance of approximately 11 mm to 14 mm in the capped shoe and not only at the tip of the cap.

L'invention concerne un embout de protection monobloc pour chaussure de sécurité qui forme une structure concave composée d'une paroi frontale et de parois latérales reliées sur les deux côtés et dont les bords supérieurs sont assemblés par une surface concave suivant le profil de l'embauchoir. L'embout de protection de l'invention présente un évidement sur le contour ou le bord de l'arcade, conçu pour loger une bande de protection et pour apporter davantage de confort, mais également donner un meilleur aspect à la chaussure de l'invention. L'embout de l'invention résiste aux essais de résistance aux chocs compris entre environ 101,7 et 146,7 Joules (10,40 et 14,95 kgf - m) et à la compression compris entre 11130 et 14710 Newton (1135 et 1500 kgf - m), ce qui permet de laisser une hauteur libre comprise entre environ 11,0 mm et 14,0 mm sur la chaussure finale et pas seulement à la pointe de l'embout.
