The invention relates to a composition for stabilizing proteins for long term dry storage and superior recovery of their native protein structure for extended reconstituted stability at 2-8 °C. The composition comprises: 1) a defibrinated sodium-free blood plasma, 2) a glass- forming sugar, 3) a serum albumin and/or a gelatin, and 4) a potassium salt. In another aspect, the present invention relates to a method for stabilizing a protein for long term dry storage using the above-mentioned composition.

L'invention concerne une composition qui permet de stabiliser des protéines en vue d'un stockage à sec de longue durée et d'une récupération supérieure de leur structure protéinique native, ce qui leur confère une stabilité prolongée entre 2 et 8 ~C, une fois qu'elles sont reconstituées. Cette composition comprend: 1) un plasma sanguin dépourvu de fibrine et de sodium, 2) un sucre pouvant se cristalliser, 3) une séralbumine et/ou une gélatine et 4) un sel de potassium. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé permettant de stabiliser une protéine en vue d'un stockage à sec de longue durée grâce à la composition sus-mentionnée.
