The invention describes a method of improving pathogen resistance or tolerance in a plant and its descendant plants comprising integrating into the genome of said plant a gene encoding a fusion protein comprising (a) a first protein domain with anti-pathogenic activity; (b) a linker peptide; and (c) a second protein or protein domain with anti-pathogenic activity. Further embodiments of the invention are said gene constructs, the fusion proteins encoded and the transgenic plants expressing said fusion proteins.

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de renforcer la résistance ou la tolérance aux agents pathogènes dans le cas d'une plante ou d'un de ses descendants. Ce procédé consiste à introduire dans le génome de la plante considérée un gène codant une protéine hybride comprenant (a) une première protéine ou un premier domaine présentant une activité anti-pathogène; un peptide de liaison; et (c) une seconde protéine ou un second domaine présentant une activité anti-pathogène. D'autres réalisations de l'invention concernent des constructions géniques, des protéines hybrides codées, et des plantes transgéniques exprimant de telles protéines hybrides.
