An air delivery device (ADD) for applying fluid pressure pulses (FPP) to the mouth cavity of a patient at a predetermined frequency according to a protocol. The ADD, comprises: a) an air blower for blowing air into a pressure chamber via a first opening (inlet); b) airflow occluding means (AOM) provided in fluid communication with said pressure chamber; said AOM located between said first opening and a second opening (outlet) of said pressure chamber; c) a patient mouthpiece or Face Mask, in fluid communication with said second opening (outlet); and, d) means for controlling AOM, adapted to interrupt and release said airflow at a predetermined frequency and pressure, thereby applying said FPPs to the mouth cavity of a patient according to a predetermined protocol during operation.

Linvention concerne un dispositif dadministration dair (ADD) permettant dappliquer des impulsions de pression de fluide (FPP) à la cavité buccale dun patient selon une fréquence prédéterminée conformément à un protocole. LADD comprend : a) un dispositif de soufflage dair permettant de souffler de lair dans une chambre de pression via un premier orifice (admission); b) un moyen docclusion de lécoulement dair (AOM) en communication fluidique avec ladite chambre de pression; ledit AOM étant situé entre ledit premier orifice et un second orifice (sortie) de ladite chambre de pression; c) une embouchure ou un masque facial pour le patient, en communication fluidique avec ledit second orifice (sortie); et d) un moyen servant à commander lAOM, conçu pour interrompre et libérer ledit écoulement dair selon une fréquence et une pression prédéterminées, et permettant ainsi dappliquer lesdites FPP à la cavité buccale dun patient conformément à un protocole prédéterminé lors du fonctionnement.
