A method and protocol to create and control compositions on a remote device is disclosed. The protocol allows servers and other devices to take advantage of processing capabilities of remote devices to render compositions on the remote devices, thereby increasing server scalability and leveraging the remote device processing capabilities. The protocol provides high-level command packets to communicate resource command packets and control packets to the remote device with the payload having the information needed to process the commands.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un protocole permettant de produire et de régler des compositions sur un dispositif éloigné. Le protocole permet à des serveurs et à d'autres dispositifs de tirer profit des capacités de traitement de dispositifs éloignés en vue de produire sur ceux-ci un rendu des compositions, ce qui permet d'accroître l'extensibilité du serveur et d'optimiser les capacités de traitement du dispositif éloigné. Ce protocole permet de produire des paquets d'instructions de haut niveau qui transmettent au dispositif éloigné des paquets d'instructions relatives aux ressources et des paquets de commande dont la charge utile comporte les données nécessaires au traitement des instructions.
