A method for producing a proton conducting film which has a crosslinking structure with silicon-oxygen covalent bonds and has, in the film, a crosslinking structure containing a sulfonic acid group, represented by the following formula: (1), characterized in that it comprises a first step of preparing a mixture comprising a mercapto group containing oligomer (A) which contains a plurality of mercapto groups and has a reactive group capable of forming an Si-O-Si bonding through a condensation reaction, a second step of shaping said mixture into a film form, a third step of effecting the condensation reaction of the mixture in a film form in the presence of a catalyst, to form a crosslinked gel, and a forth step of converting the mercapto group in the film to a sulfonic acid group by oxidation; a proton conducting film produced by the method; and a solid polymer type fuel cell using the proton conducting film. The proton conducting film exhibits high ion conductivity, is excellent in dimensional stability at a high temperature, and is capable of functioning with stability even at a high temperature.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un film conducteur protonique présentant une structure de réticulation avec des liaisons par covalence silicium-oxygène et, dans le film, une structure de réticulation renfermant un groupe d'acide sulfonique, représenté par la formule suivante : (1). Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une première étape consistant à préparer un mélange renfermant un groupe mercapto comprenant un oligomère (A) renfermant une pluralité de groupes mercapto et possédant un groupe réactif capable de former une liaison Si-O-Si par l'intermédiaire d'une réaction de condensation ; une deuxième étape consistant à façonner ledit mélange en une forme de film, une troisième étape consistant à effectuer la réaction de condensation du mélange dans une forme de film, en présence d'un catalyseur, de manière à former un gel réticulé ; et une quatrième étape consistant à convertir le groupe mercapto dans le film en un groupe d'acide sulfonique par oxydation. L'invention concerne également un film conducteur protonique produit au moyen du procédé et une pile à combustible de type polymère solide utilisant le film conducteur protonique. Celui-ci possède une conductivité ionique élevée, une excellente stabilité dimensionnelle à des températures élevées et est capable de fonctionner de manière stable même à des températures élevées.
