A system and method is disclosed involving acquiring a plurality of charge accounts. One of the plurality of charge accounts are gifted from a first party to a second party, where the first and the second party are different from one another, and the charge account does not have a physical card. The charge account is usable in the name of the second party at any merchant who is capable of seeking credit card authorization. The first party establishes an account and establishes an account parameter. The second party is informed of this account by e-mail which contains a greeting and directs the second party to perform a specified action to activate the account. The account is activated for usage by the second party according to the account parameter. Thereafter, the charge account is activated. The system has a database with at least one table and a processor, where the database is configured to, under the control of the processor, maintain account information.
L'invention porte sur un système et un procédé qui consistent à acquérir plusieurs comptes d'achats à crédit (fig. 1). Ces comptes d'achats à crédit, qui ne sont pas représentés par des cartes réelles, sont offerts par une première partie à une seconde partie différentes l'une de l'autre. Le compte d'achats à crédit peut être utilisé au nom de la seconde partie auprès de n'importe quel commerçant habilité. La première partie ouvre un compte et établit un paramètre de compte. La seconde partie est informée de l'ouverture de ce compte par un courrier électronique qui contient des salutations et lui donne des indications dans le sens d'accomplir une action précise pour activer le compte. Le compte est activé à l'usage de la seconde partie en fonction du paramètre de compte. Le système comprend une base de données comportant au moins une table et un processeur, et la base de données est configurée pour, sous le contrôle du processeur, mettre l'information du compte à jour.
