ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention concerns a means of prov- iding a pelletized coal-composition product for use in the treatment of liquid sewage waste. Selected coal materials of known sorptive aff- inity for the contaminants in the liquid sewage waste as determined by chemical analysis, are first pulverized and screened then blended into sorptive coal compositions. The coal compositions are then mixed with a water soluble binder and then pelletized by conventional type pelletizers. In use the pellets are dispensed by hand or by means of automatic pellet dispensers placed within a waterproofed compartment of a toilet bowl tank assembly, attached to the toilet or to the sewage discharge pipes therefrom. The pellets may be added to the toilet bowl after its use and prior to its being flushed or may be dispensed into the liquid sewage waste during its discharge when the automatic dispenser may be actuated by the liquid waste discharge.
