A B S T R A C T This invention consists of a tool for removing nailed-on wooden items such as moulding, base boards, panel- ling, etc., commonly found in interior or exterior of buildings constructed of or trimmed with wood. It consists primarily of a steel rod which serves as a handle and which terminates at one end into a wide rectangular plate which is bent to just slightly over a rightangle to said handle. The straight end of said plate is sharpened to a thin edge, and contains therein a centrally located notch. The said straight edge is used for prying loose nail held items, while the notch is used to remove nails.
