ABSTRACT A thermally conductive, electrically insulative pressure sensitive adhesive is provided. The adhesive comprises a (1) polymer prepared from an alkyl acrylate or methacrylate having from 1 to 12 carbons in the alkyl group and a polar comonomer, and (2) from 20 to 400 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the monomers of thermally conductive, electrically insulative particles. The particles are randomly dispersed throughout the polymer. The adhesive may be provided in the form of a transfer tape.
