Novel compounds have been provided which are potent bradykinin receptor antagonists. The compounds are useful in the treatment of various diseases including inflammatory disorders, asthma, septic shock, and burn pain. Included in aspects of the invention are pharmaceutical compositions containing the inventive compounds and the use of these compounds as bradykinin receptor antagonists.
