Abstract of the Disclosure An improved cable pulling eye including breakaway protection. The cable pulling eye includes a main body having a female end and a second body with a male end which may be inserted together. The bodies are held together by a breakaway pin passing through the male shaft and the walls of the second body. The pin includes spaced annular grooves as weak points where breakage is limited and will occur.
