PULLING TOWER ABSTRACT A mobile pulling tower apparatus provides a re- locatable loading device by which massive deforming tension loads can be selectively applied to structures, such as automobile bodies in corrective, directed deforming relation therewith. The tower structure is massively constructed in order to withstand the required working loads, but is mounted upon a simple retractable tricycle undercarriage having a single, lightly loaded non-castoring nose wheel. The re- tractable undercarriage is differentially actuable such that the two main wheels are initially deployed and the apparatus raised thereupon by use of the tower as a lever, whereupon the leverage is reversed and the nose wheel readily deployed. An improved, adjustable height anchor chain attachment bracket further enhances use of the tower.
