Abstract of the Disclosure A pair of pulsating combustors are parallelly con- nected to each other between an air intake chamber and an exhaust chamber. Aerodynamic valves having a forward flow coefficient higher than their reverse flow coef- ficient are respectively arranged in air intake pipes which connect the combustion chambers of the pulsating combustors to the air intake chamber. Fuel is injected into a location between each of the aerodynamic valves and a corresponding one of the combustion chambers. The injected fuel collides with an air stream flowing through each of the aerodynamic valves and is mixed therewith. When explosive combustion takes place in any one of the combustion chambers, injection of fuel thereto is automatically stopped by the pressure increase caused by the explosive combustion. When the pressure in the combustion chamber decreases, fuel is once again injected.
