A pulse train generating circuit for accurately controlling the ozone production of an ozone generator, is disclosed. The ozone generator may be an electrode type ozone generator or a laser type ozone generator. The circuit generates a first signal indicative of the target rate of ozone production. A control signal of a predetermined length first time period having enable and disable portions is then generated. The temporal sum of the enable portions of the control signal within the first time period is representative of the target rate of ozone production. A train of pulses corresponding to the enable portions of the control signal is passed by a pulse train gate, and is fed to the ozone generator so as to cause generation of ozone. The amount of ozone generated during the first time period is directly related to the temporal sum of the pulses in the train of pulses passed by the pulse train gate, so as to thereby provide accurate control of the amount of ozone being generated.
L'invention concerne un circuit générateur de trains d'impulsions pour commander avec précision la production d'ozone d'un générateur d'ozone. Ce générateur d'ozone peut être un modèle à électrode ou à laser. Ce circuit génère un premier signal indiquant le débit à atteindre pour la production d'ozone. Un signal de commande d'une première période, de longueur déterminée, présentant des parties de validation et d'invalidation est ensuite généré. La somme temporelle des parties de validation du signal de commande à l'intérieur de la première période est représentative du débit à atteindre pour la production d'ozone. Une grille à trains d'impulsions fait passer un train d'impulsions correspondant aux parties de validation du signal de commande, puis ce train d'impulsions est acheminé vers le générateur d'ozone de façon à entraîner la production d'ozone. La quantité d'ozone produite pendant la première période dépend directement de la somme temporelle des impulsions du train d'impulsions que la grille a fait passer, ce qui permet ainsi de commander avec précision la quantité d'ozone produite.
