ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A radar transmitter system to be mounted in concealed fashion which can imitate the signal of a highway police radar gun to a motorist passing on the highway. The system comprises a portable radar transmitter designed to transmit a radar signal which is detected by an activated radar detector of the passing motorist. The portable radar transmitter provides random pulse radar generator means for the radar signal, and signal transmission means. A housing for the portable radar transmitter is secured to the object and means are associated with the housing to releasably lock the portable radar transmitter within.
