A method of facilitating the maintenance of a pump and for facilitating changes in the operation of a pump is provided. The method includes the steps of providing a pump, a processor and a memory; sensing at least one operating condition of the pump indicative of the operation of the pump; generating pump operational data reflective of the sensed operating condition; and operating the processor to compare a stored predetermined level to a stored operational data and in response thereto outputting information as to the desirability of replacing or repairing at least one selected wear part or modifying the operation of the pump.
Méthode pour faciliter l'entretien d'une pompe et pour faciliter des modifications dans le fonctionnement d'une pompe. La méthode consiste à fournir une pompe, un processeur et une mémoire; à détecter au moins un état de fonctionnement de la pompe indiquant son fonctionnement; à générer des données sur le fonctionnement de pompe concernant l'état de fonctionnement détecté; et à actionner le processeur pour comparer un niveau prédéterminé stocké à des données opérationnelles stockées et, en réponse au résultat, fournir des informations sur le bien-fondé de remplacer ou de réparer au moins une pièce d'usure sélectionnée ou de modifier le fonctionnement de la pompe.
