A pump monitoring apparatus capable of informing a remote operator as to the status of the pump. A transducer registered with the pump generates pulsating electrical signals in time with the pump. These signals are conditioned by digital circuits to: (1) flash a steady light indicating pump normal operation; and (2) indicate that the entire apparatus is operating normally; or (3) indicate particular pump, line or valve failures.
