8CS 3591 PUNCTURE RESISTANT LAMINATE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides An improved penetration resistant laminate comprising: a plurality of internal and forward penetration resistant thermo- plastic resinous laminae of from about 100 mils to about 250 mils in thickness; a back polycarbonate lamina opposite the direction of impact or penetration from about 30 to about 220 mils in thickness; a plurality of compatible adhesive interlayers to bond the lamina; and an internal lamina of glass from about 100 mils to about 250 mils in thickness removed from said back polycarbonate lamina by at least one interposed said thermoplastic resinous lamina.
