In all methods of reducing feline urine odor when excreted, it is known that strong chemical products are used to mask the urine scent once it is excreted. There exists chemical urine odor removers, scented litters and feline air fresheners that all claim to reduce domestic feline urine odor. In this invention, the method ofodor reduction consists of an acetic acid solution in a water solvent which is ingested and replaces a domestic feline's regular drinking water. The present invention reduces the decomposition of urea by introducing into the urinary system a weak acid solution. This in turn reduces the amount of ammonium carbonate, a by-product of urea breakdown, which also reduces the amount of ammonia excreted in the urine to finally reduce domestic feline urine odor. Contrary to existing methods, this invention prevents the odor, of excreted urine, from occurring as opposed to masking the odor of urine once it has been excretedby the domestic feline.
