A method for separating nucleic acid from a liquid sample, said method comprising the steps of causing a liquid sample containing or suspected of containing said nucleic acid to flow along a bibulous membrane, for example of a conventional lateral flow device, so that nucleic acid is distributed along the length of the membrane. The nucleic acid may be detected on the membrane.
Procédé servant à séparer un acide nucléique d'un échantillon liquide, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à faire couler un échantillon liquide contenant ou supposé contenir ledit acide nucléique le long d'une membrane absorbante, par exemple d'un dispositif d'immunochromatographie sur membrane classique, de façon à ce que l'acide nucléique soit réparti sur la longueur de la membrane.
