Natural gas liquids and water vapor are removed from natural gas by a series of steps. In one embodiment the natural gas liquids and water vapor are removed by passing the natural gas first through a bed of aluminum-deficient zeolite to remove the natural gas liquids, then through a bed of water-selectiveadsorbent. In another embodiment, a combination of an aluminum-deficient adsorbent and an absorption system are used to remove the natural gas liquids and water vapor from the natural gas.
