This invention provides purified human telomerase and methods of purifying it. The methods involve the use of several sequential steps, including the use of a first matrix that binds molecules bearing negative charges, a matrix that binds molecules bearing positive charges, a second matrix that binds molecules bearing negative charges, an affinity purification step and a matrix that separates molecules according to their size.

Cette invention se rapporte à des télomérases purifiées d'origine humaine ainsi qu'à des procédés de purification de télomérases. Ces procédés consistent en plusieurs étapes séquentielles: utilisation d'une première matrice qui se lie aux molécules portant des charges négatives, d'une matrice qui se lie aux molécules portant des charges positives, d'une seconde matrice qui se lie aux molécules portant des charges négatives; purification par affinité puis utilisation d'une matrice qui sépare les molécules en fonction de leur taille.
