Burgess-5 PUSH-BUTTON SWITCH ABSTRACT: A push-button switch for a telephone subset which has as a middle element a flat strip with a portion bowed out of the plane of the strip and acted on by the button. Also, bent out from the plane of the strip is one or more contact blades. When the bowed portion is switched over by push button operation, the blades also move the area between them and the bowed portion becomes rigid. The invention provides improved contact pressure and allows several contact blades to he controlled by one bowed region. - 1 -
