Push-pull cap comprising a base (1) with an internal thread (6), a push-button (2) associated with the base (1) and capable of moving in relation to the base (1) from a closed to an open position, an overcap (3) covering the push-button (2) before the cap is first opened, the said overcap (3) comprising, at its base, a tear band (34) connected to the overcap (3) by frangible connectors, the said tear band (34) being irreversibly imprisoned in a groove (8) in the base (1.).
