ABSTRACT A push broom, particularily for the game of ice curling, having a head part, an elongated rod-like handle attached to the head plate in rigid manner, and a polish- ing plated spaced below the head part and tiltable with respect thereto, to a limited extent, in all directions in order that the polishing plate may maintain an evenly distributed contact thereover with respect to the surface to be polished when the angular position of the handle is varied with respect to the surface and over a limited angle dependent primarily on the spacing between the head part and the polishing plate.
