A device for performing weighted push-ups in a safe environment is provided. The device comprises a)a pair of hollow, parallel supports; b) a pair of essentially symmetrical L-shaped arms, comprising a vertically downward segment and a horizontal segment, said vertically downward segments adapted to be vertically moveable within said parallel supports ; c) a pair of essentially parallel guide elements affixed to the horizontal segment each of the L-shaped arms; and d) a weight support platform attached to upright rods that are slideable within the guide elements.

L'invention concerne un appareil permettant d'effectuer des exercices d'extension des bras dans un milieu sécuritaire. L'appareil comprend : a) une paire de supports creux parallèles; b) une paire de bras en L essentiellement symétriques, avec une partie verticale orientée vers le bas et une partie horizontale, les parties verticales étant adaptées pour pouvoir être déplacées sur le plan vertical dans lesdits supports parallèles; c) une paire d'éléments guides essentiellement parallèles fixés à la partie horizontale des bras en L; d) une plate-forme de support de poids fixée aux tiges verticales qui peuvent coulisser dans les éléments guides.
