A sprinkler has a pushbutton assembly (20) and a piston assembly (16). The sprinkler has a chamber (14) defined to receive therein the piston assembly (16) and the pushbutton assembly (20). The piston assembly (16) is controlled by the pushbutton assembly (20) to activate the communication between the chamber (14) in the handle (12) of the sprinkler and the inlet (120) of the handle (12). The pushbutton assembly (20) has a pushbutton (24) movably received in the handle (12) to control an engagement of a piston (160) of the piston assembly (16) to the chamber (14) so as that the water flow out of the outlet (19) is controlled by the movement of the pushbutton (24).
