There is provided an improvement in a golf putter which has a shaft, a putting head and a handle, the improvement being a handle formed of a one piece molded member of a resiliently deformable elastomeric material, a distal end of the handle having a semispherical recess to receive a golf ball, a flange extending inwardly of the distal end to the semispherical recess to engage the golf ball and retain the same therein. Preferably, there is also included a dislodging member extending inwardly of the recess and an actuating member for actuating the dislodging member.
