A PVC building trim and a method of applying the trim to a surface by bending the PVC trim (12) to conform to the con- tour of the surface (36). The PVC is a high impact exterior PVC which can be bent to form permanent creases (74) at a job site insitu without cracking the PVC. In one embodiment the PVC is fastened to the surface and a PVC molding (24) is attached to the PVC trim (12) to cover any fasteners which may be used. The PVC trim (12) can be provided in a coil.
