PYLON MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR REDUCING HELICOPTER VIBRATION ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a mounting for a helicopter pylon. The mounting comprises a pair of rigid beams secured at the centers thereof to opposite sides of the transmission portion of the pylon. A vertical rigid mounting pin extends downward at the end of each of the beams. A hollow vertical receptacle is secured to the fuselage of the helicopter, and is coaxial with each pin and has a reentrant bore which provides a downfacing shoulder. A resilient body couples each pin to each receptacle. An enlarged foot on each pin operates between the fuselage and the shoulder to limit deflection of the pylon and the resilient coupling.
