The pyramidal acoustic cavity increases the sound level and improves the quality of the sound reproduced by an acoustic transducer. The cavity comprises a pyramidal acoustic wall structure defining an apex, and an opening at the apex of the wall structure through which sound waves produced by the acoustic transducer are projected within the wall structure. According to a preferred embodiment, the acoustic pyramidal wall structure comprises a set of triangular walls, and the acoustic transducer is mounted in the opening at the apex of the wall structure.
