They have excellent human SGLT1 inhibitory activity and are useful as a preventive or therapeutic agent for diseases attributable to hyperglycemia such as diabetes, complications of diabetes, and obesity.

Des dérivés et sels présentent une importante activité inhibitrice de SGLT1, et peuvent être utilisés en tant qu'agents préventifs ou thérapeutiques pour les maladies résultant d'une hyperglycémie telles que le diabète, les complication du diabète et l'obésité.
