pyrethroids which otherwise tend to induce paresthesia during handling are formulated for agricultural usage in a manner which lessens or avoids this tendency. This is achieved by using the pyrethroid in the form of a solution in an aromatic solvent having a flash point above 50°C, the most preferred solvents being those with flash points within the range of about 90-125°C. The formulations for which the invention is of particular interest are granular formulations.

L'invention concerne des pyréthroïdes qui habituellement tendent à provoquer une paresthésie lors de la manipulation, formulés pour une utilisation agricole d'une manière diminuant ou éliminant cette tendance. On est parvenu à ce résultat par l'emploi de pyréthroïde se présentant sous la forme d'une solution dans un solvant aromatique ayant un point d'éclair situé au-dessus de 50 C, les solvants préférés étant ceux dont les points d'éclair situés dans une plage comprise entre 90 et 125 C. Les compositions pour lesquelles l'invention présente un intérêt pariculier sont les compositions granulaires.
