ABSTRACT: Pyrimidones Pyrimidones of general formula (I) Image wherein A and B together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached, represent an optionally substituted phenyl ring or a pyridine ring; D represents an alkylene or hydroxyalkylene group; R3 and R5 each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; R4 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkoxy group; and R6 represents an alkyl group or an alkylene or hydroxy- alkylene group substituted by an optionally substituted phenyl or phenoxy group; and their salts, which show interesting pharmacological properties, especially hypotensive, antiarrhythmic and .beta.-receptor-blocking activities.
