The invention concerns a pyrographic device (1), comprising a housing (2) substantially elongated so that it can be gripped by a user, including at one of its ends a wire connection (6) for supplying electric power, and at the other end a heating tip (12). The invention is characterized in that it comprises a protective case (14) enclosing said tip (12) such that only its tip protrudes outside said case (14).
