The invention provides an apparatus for measuring the temperature of a molten bath comprising a) a refractory mounting sleeve ( 1,1') having an outer surface (2) for contacting the molten bath and an inner cavity (3), said inner cavity having an inner surface (4), an outer opening (6) and an inner closed end (5); and b) an optical pyrometer (7) attached to the mounting sleeve and adapted to measure the thermal radiation emitted by a measurement zone (10) located inside the inner cavity of the mounting sleeve and under the molten bath level. The inner cavity outer opening (6) is adapted to receive fixedly the optical pyrometer (7). The apparatus is characterized in that the mounting plate (8) is adapted to engage in a complementary recess located at the inner cavity outer opening (6) of the mounting sleeve (1,1'). Thereby, the accuracy and reproducibility of the measure is greatly increased.
La présente invention concerne un appareil permettant de mesurer la température d'un bain fondu, qui comprend : a) un fourreau réfractaire ( 1,1') comportant une surface externe (2) destinée à entrer en contact avec le bain fondu et une cavité interne (3), ladite cavité interne comportant une surface interne (4), une ouverture externe (6) et une extrémité fermée interne (5) ; et b) un pyromètre optique (7) attaché au fourreau et apte à mesurer le rayonnement thermique émis par une zone de mesure (10) située à l'intérieur de la cavité interne du fourreau et sous le niveau du bain fondu. L'ouverture externe (6) de la cavité interne est apte à recevoir fixe le pyromètre optique (7). L'appareil est caractérisé en ce que la plaque support (8) est apte à s'emboîter dans une cavité complémentaire située dans l'ouverture externe (6) de la cavité interne du fourreau (1,1'). L'invention permet de la sorte d'améliorer sensiblement l'exactitude et la reproductibilité de la mesure.
