The invention relates to a pyrotechnic device (10) comprising an ignition delay between a fuse or igniter and a device to be ignited, consisting of: a first element (18) which defines a first space (18) that houses at least one fuse or igniter; and a second element (12) which communicates with a second space (20) via an opening (22), said second space housing the device to be ignited. Moreover, the inventive device comprises a track (24) containing an evenly burning flammable material, which is disposed at the level of the surface of the first and/or second element (16) and which is in permanent contact with the first space by means of a connecting portion (22) of the first space and with the second space by means of an opening. The above- mentioned first element can slide in relation to the second element and/or vice versa such as to alter the length of the track between the connecting portion and the opening, in order to modify the duration of the ignition delay.
L'invention concerne un dispositif (10) pyrotechnique de retard à l'allumage entre une mèche ou un allumeur et un dispositif à allumer comprenant un premier élément (18) définissant un premier espace (18) recevant au moins une mèche ou un allumeur; et un second élément (12) communiquant par un orifice (22) avec un second espace (20) recevant le dispositif à allumer, et comprenant une piste (24) contenant un matériau inflammable brûlant régulièrement, réalisée au niveau de la surface du premier et/ou du second élément (16), et communiquant en permanence avec le premier espace par une portion communicante (22) du premier espace et avec le second espace par l'orifice, le premier élément pouvant coulisser par rapport au second élément et/ou inversement de façon à modifier la longueur de la piste entre la portion communicante et l'orifice pour modifier la durée du retard à l'allumage.
