ABSTRACT A stabilized thermoplastic moulding composition based on halogen-containing polymers, in particular on polyvinyl chloride or copolymers of vinyl chloride comprising, as primary heat stabilizers zinc compounds and polymeric primary stabilizers from the group of polyoxazolines. The composition comprises as costabilizers compounds of the formula I Image (I) wherein R1 is methyl or phenyl, R2 is, for example, hydrogen or C2-C10-alkylcarbonyl, R3 is methyl, phenyl or C1-C18-alkoxy methyl and R4 is hydrogen. The compositions using the compounds of formula I as costabilizers show buffer heat stability than materials stabilize with primary stabilizers only.
