S P E C I F I C A T I O N TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: BE IT KNOWN that I, GERALD P. NEWELL, a citizen of the United States, residing at 959 Northway Court, Hanover Park, Illinois 60103, in the County of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new and useful improvement in HAIR MOISTURIZING COMPOSITIONS of which the following is a specification. Abstract An aqueous hair treatment composition for restoring the proper moisture level in initially moisture deficient hair and maintaining the proper moisture level in hair initially having a normal moisture content comprising from about 0.01 to about 1 weight percent of sodium-2-pyrrolidone-5-carboxylate, from about 0.05 to about 5 weight percent of glycerin, and from about 0.05 to about 5.0 weight percent of protein derived from a collagenous source.
