Pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidines of formula (I) in which R1, R2 and R3 are as defined in the description, have useful pharmaceutical properties and are particularly effective as inhibitors of the protein tyrosine kinase pp60c-src. They are prepared in a manner known per se.
