Disclosed are pyrroloazepine compounds and their salts. These pyrroloazepine compounds are represented by formula (I) wherein the dashed line indicates the presence or absence of a bond; and, when the bond is present, Z2 is not present and Z1 is H but, when the bond is absent, Z1 and Z2 are both Hs; Z1 is H and Z2 is OH; Z1 and Z2 are both SR5s in which R5 is alkyl, aralkyl or aryl; or Z1 and Z2 are combined together to represent O, NOR6 in which R6 is H, alkyl, aralkyl or aryl, or C2-C3 alkylenedithio; R is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkyl alkyl or aralkyl; and the ring P is a specific pyrrole ring. These pyrroloazepine compounds and salts are effective as preventives or therapeutics for general circulatory diseases such as hypertension, heart failure, ischemic hear diseases, cerebrovascular disturbances and peripheral circulatory disturbances. Their production processes are also disclosed.

L'invention concerne des composés de pyrroloazépine et leurs sels. Ces composés sont représentés par la formule suivante (I). Dans cette formule, la ligne pointillée indique la présence ou l'absence de liaison. Lorsque la liaison existe, Z¿2? n'existe pas et Z¿1? représente H. En revanche, lorsque la liaison n'existe pas, Z¿1? et Z¿2? représentent tous deux H; Z¿1? représente H et Z¿2? représente OH; Z¿1? et Z¿2? représentent tous deux SR¿5? où R¿5? représente un alkyle, un aralkyle ou un aryle; ou bien Z¿1? et Z¿2? sont combinés ensemble en vue de représenter O, NOR¿6? où R¿6? représente H, un alkyle, un aralkyle ou un aryle, ou un alkylènedithio C¿2?-C¿3?. R représente H, un alkyle, cycloalklyle, cycloalkyl-alkyle ou un aralkyle. Le noyau P est un noyau pyrrole spécifique. Ces composés de pyrroloazépine et leurs sels sont efficaces en tant que mesures préventives et thérapeutiques pour les maladies circulatoires générales telles que l'hypertension, l'insuffisance cardiaque, les maladies cardiaques ischémiques, les troubles cérébrovasculaires et les troubles circulatoires périphériques. L'invention concerne également les procédés de production de ces composés.
