This invention provides a pyrroloazepine deriva- tive represented by the following formula (I): (see figure I) wherein, when the bond indicated by the dashed line is present, Z1 represents H but, when the bond indicated by the dashed line is absent, Z1 represents H and Z2 represents OH or Z1 and Z2 are taken together to form O or a group NOR1, R1 representing H, an alkyl group or the like, R represents H, an alkyl group or the like; A represents an alkylene, alkenyl.ene or alkynylene group with one of Hs being optionally substituted by OH: Y represents a group: (see figure II, III) in which R2 and R3 individually represent H, an alkyl group or the like, R4 and R5 individually represent H or an alkyl group; B represents a carbonyl group, a sulfonyl group or the like: m stands for 1 or 2; n stands for 0 or 1; and D represents an alkoxy group, an aromatic heterocyclic ring or the like; a salt thereof; a preparation process thereof; and a therapeutic for circulatory diseases, said therapeutic containing as an active ingredient the pyrroloazepine derivative or the salt thereof.
