PHN 8805 ABSTRACT A quadrature transposition stage comprising first and second signal paths, each having a modulator followed by a fil- ter including a rasonant circuit and an input circuit coupling a first input of each modulator to a common inpput. The output signal of a local oscillator is applied, with such a phase, to a second input of each modulator so that the output signal of the filter in the first signal path is in quadrature with the output signal of the filter in the second signal path and an output circuit couples the output of each filter to a common out- put. The resonant circuit in each of the two filters is formed by an impedance and an imaginary conductance. The imaginary conductances in the respective resonant circuits are introduced by a gyrator having a first port which terminates in the im- pedance belonging to the rasonant circuit of one filter and a second port which terminates in the impedance belonging to the rasonant circuit of the other filter.
