A method of providing a graphic display (SD) of an electrical distribution network (N) to provide network personnel insight as to network operation. A segment of the network is monitored to obtain information about predetermined types of incidents which occur. The information is then processed to ascertain where the incidents occurred and the number of incidents which occur over a predetermined period of time. The results are presented in a graphical display which includes the number of incidents occurring at each location within the network segment, and the number of incidents which occurred at each location during a previous period of time at the respective locations.

Une méthode consistant à fournir un affichage graphique (SD) d'un réseau de distribution d'électricité (N) afin de permettre une connaissance personnelle du réseau quant au fonctionnement de ce dernier. Un segment de réseau est surveillé afin d'obtenir de l'information relative à des genres prédéterminés d'incidents qui surviennent. L'information est ensuite traitée afin de s'assurer des endroits où les incidents surviennent et du nombre d'incidents qui se produisent au cours d'une période de temps prédéterminée. Les résultats sont présentés dans un affichage graphique comprenant le nombre d'incidents survenant à chaque emplacement au sein du segment de réseau, et le nombre d'incidents qui surviennent à chaque emplacement au cours d'une période de temps antérieure aux emplacements respectifs.
