Abstract of the disclosure: QUANTITATION BY CHEMILUMINESCENCE USING PHOTOSENSITIVE SUBSTANCE Certain metal porphines are used as catalysts to generate chemiluminescence from high pH solution without added oxidizing agent. These catalysts can be conjugated to antibodies to provide immunoassay detection systems of greater convenience and sensitivity.
