The invention provides an improved method for quantitation of two target genes in a simultaneous PCR, without the need to determine limiting primer concentrations for both targets. In particular, the invention provides a method of quantitation of expression of a first and a second target protein- encoding nucleic acids using a PCR based assay in which amplification of nucleic acid is detected by release of a reporter fluorescent signal which is measured as a normalised reporter value ("deltaRn").

L'invention se rapporte à une méthode perfectionnée de quantification de deux gènes cibles par amplification enzymatique simultanée, effectuée sans recours à une détermination des concentrations d'amorces assurant une amplification limitée pour les deux cibles. L'invention se rapporte notamment à une méthode de quantification de l'expression d'un premier et d'un second acide nucléique codant les protéines cibles, au moyen d'une analyse basée sur une réaction PCR dans laquelle l'amplification de l'acide nucléique est détectée lors de la libération d'un signal fluorescent de rapporteur qui est mesuré et utilisé en tant que valeur normalisée de rapporteur ("deltaRn").
