O.Z. 0050/034012 Abstract of the Disclosure: Polyelectrolytic titration of serum lipoproteins, the negative surface charge of the latter being determined quantitatively by adding an excess amount of a polycation in aqueous solution to the particular serum lipoprotein and back-titrating the positive charge,of the polycation,which has not been neutralized by the negative surface charge,against a chromotropic polyanion, in the presence of a metachromatic dye as the indicator. The method is used for the diagnosis of lipometabolic disorders.
