-16- QUICK ATTACHMENT DEVICE Abstract of Disclosure A quick attachment device (12) for releasably connecting an implement (10) such as a loader to a vehicle without special tools comprises a pair of uprights (26) connected to the implement and a pair of corresponding pedestals (32) mounted on opposite sides of the vehicle. Each upright (26) is cradled by trunions (40) in notches (38) on the corresponding pedestal (32) and releasably secured thereto by means of locking pins (48). Removal of the pins (48) and appropriate actuation of the cylinders (22, 30) causing the implement (10) to fulcrum about exten- dable stands (52) enable selective attachment or detachment from the vehicle.
