Abstract of the Disclosure The invention disclosed relates to a filter assembly for use in conjunction with photometric detectors e.g. flame photometers. Conventional equipment of this nature only permits the monitoring of the light radiation characteristic of a single chemical reaction, whereas the present invention permits the monitoring of several chemical reactions by providing a quick change filter assembly which includes a plurality of different optical filters. The filters are selectively moved into an operating position such that light emitted as a result of a chemical reaction being monitored passes through the filter before being exposed to a photoelectric detector.
